NEW MIXTAPE FROM BLAQJACC.....(read to find out more about it)
What's the name of the mixtape?
"The Rebate"
Why am I namin it The Rebate?
Well we callin it The Rebate because the mixtape consists of a bunch of tracks I just been sittin on since like last summer. I was originally recordin it for the sequel to 'Im On My Shit' which was gon be the part 2 to that. And since we givin it away for free, we figure we call it The Rebate. You know how when you go to the store & buy like a cell phone or somethin and it originally costs like $400 but its only $50 after rebates...Well, all this mixtape is going to cost you is your time to check it out, but it come with an instant satisfaction rebate....its time well spent.
I was just gonna hold on to all those songs til next winter, since 'Im On My Shit' part 2 was supposed to drop this last winter, but since I keep gettin better wit every song, I aint wunna put nothin out knowin that Im 10 times better than the music I just put out, & then havin to wait to put out music with the level Im at now later, and then i be better than that by then...... & then its a cycle of me not bein able to keep up with myself....stand me?! However there's still a couple songs Im a hold on to cuz they just too crazy to give em away for free like that just on the internet, they gon need a bigger push than that.
What type of songs do I have on The Rebate?
Since I had originally planed to drop it in the winter, it got more songs that are of great content...u know shit u gotta actually listen to. Cuz u not really out ridin around & gettin out as much in the winter so u more subject to listen to songs that u can relate to more on a personal level as an individual rather than somethin 4 u & ya niggaz or u & yo homegurls 2 vibe to stand me?! Like songs like "Top Back" from T.I. or "Money On My Mind" from Lil Wayne, those are songs that u & ya niggaz or u & ya homegurls can relate to while yall together as a group stand me? But then u got songs that u wunna vibe to when u by urself u know like, "Meet the Parents" from Jay-Z or "Many Men" from 50 Cent. "Many Men" is a song that only niggaz who been shot or shot at, etc.. can really relate to so it reaches u more on a personal level. But even if u aint been shot, stabbed, etc... u still like the song because its so interestin, & its a unique story.
On this mixtape I got alotta story tellin songs that fit more in that "personal" category but we not sure on how many of those type songs if any we're gonna put on the tape, cuz songs like that dont get outdated. And those songs mean somethin to me so I just dont wunna throw it out there so carelessly, I wunt people to feel me. So other than that feel, I got songs with alotta energy to em, u know like that kinda music u get pumped 4 a game for or tha type of music u get dressed 2 in the morning & u got the music blastin off throughout ur house. Its prolly gon have more songs like that on there, but of course u gon get a taste of everything. Just depends on what me & my A&R's agree on for the tape.
Do I have any favorite songs or songs u recommend to listen to?
Umm...I got 3 tracks that are tied at my favorite, & they are MUST LISTENS. They called "Sound of the Streets", "Jealous of You", & "Wut Can U Say". However its a possibility that we might hold all 3 of those records for another project so I wouldnt hold my breath lookin 4 em when The Rebate drop. As far as songs that I'm pretty sure is gon make The Rebate, I gotta joint on there called "Man Up"....dat shit goes BANANAS!! Thas a personal favorite of mine, plus I actually produced that track myself too so that was really an exciting record for me. I got my brother HB on that song too, his verse was crazy. So I just cant wait 2 see what kinda reaction I get from that record.
When is The Rebate comin out?
It should be out no later than the middle of March...It might even be out next week, just keep checkin blaqjacc.blogspot.com to stay updated on the status. We just gettin the artwork & the tracklistin done right now basically, besides that its done.
How do u go about getting the mixtape?
U gotta get it at blaqjacc.blogspot.com, its free!

For those of you who've been like.....WHERE BLAQJACC BEEN?!
WHERE HAVE I BEEN U ASK?
Well I been everywhere u aint been. While u was out ridin on ames, i was at the studio doin my thang...while u was out chasin bitches, I was makin digits...while u was out there just fuckin around I was puttin my hustle down. Listen fells.... IM ON MY SHIT.....ALWAYS!!!!! Shit aint like I been missin nothin but bullets flyin & niggaz dyin anyway. I been there done that & wrote raps bout that already. People eventually get tired of u rappin about the same thang after a while, so I gotta experience different shit in order 4 that to happen, cuz at the end of the day I can only rap about what I go through stand me? Plus on top of that its cold as fuck outside fells!! So, son'll be out when the sun back out at the top of the summer, 24/7, pushin my new mixtape, "Heartland Hero" hosted by my good man DJ 2Exclusive. Get atcha dude!

"One of the Best 51 Undiscovered Artists in the Country".......Vibe Magazine
How did I make the Vibe Magazine?
Well the answer to that is quite simple.....bcuz im NICE nigga thats why! I aint do no politicin wit em or wuznt no money involved or I aint fuck one of the girls from the Vibe editor staff or none of that, they just liked the talent that I possessed....period.
How did I feel about makin the Vibe?
I felt great wut u thought?! But that dont make me content at all, that dont make me think Im better than other artists here in my state bcuz I already thought I was better than everyone in my state from the beginnin anyway, and my region too 4 that matter. I still respect some niggaz here in my state & in the region doin what they do but I feel Im better than them & my job is to continue to grind & work hard so that YOU agree with that opinion. I still have alotta room to grow & the thought of that is scary on the talent level bcuz there's niggaz who dont get to my level til they in they late 30's (clears throat). And that's lyrically AND writing songs. But dont get me confused 4 a cocky ass nigga who just think he the shit & there aint nothin u can tell em, I mean yea I do admit I can be a lil cocky but I still know my role in the game & right now Im still just a pon, stand me?
Do I think EVERYONE else who made the Vibe deserved it?
Honestly, I have only listened to like 4 or 5 of em that made it so I cant really answer that question stand me? And out of the ones I listened to I ended up doin a song with one of em (shotout to Zedzilla) & they also got Yo Gotti on the track. Its called "Product of the Street" shit turned out hot in my opinion. Its a promo song for Zedzilla that they tryna do wit a nigga from every state that they believe is really holdin they state down & can really represent the streets. Like I said I like the joint & I'm gettin a good reaction from it so ...it is what it is

About the song: "Mr. AM to the PM" (Probably my favorite song that I've ever recorded....or at least one of em)
"Mr. AM to the PM" (produced by D. Boy)
Why did I make this song?
I recorded this song right after I got done watchin Hip-Hop vs. America on BET. I get tired of hearin the same arguments brought up over & over because we as artists have to keep REPEATIN ourselves. So I felt like any questions that an Oprah or Al Sharpton or any other Hip-Hop critic had to address or whatever was pretty much answered in this song. So miss me wit that bullshit in your interviews bruh.
What was the whole process in me making the song?
My producer D. Boy, who was in Phoenix, AZ at the time, was at the studio there & he had shot me a text sayin he had just made this lil throwaway beat but he was gon' send it to me anyway just 4 the hell of it. I was like aight coo. I already had the hook in my head, so when I got the beat & I did the hook to the beat... it just seemed perfect.
So I set the beat on repeat & went into my zone for 20-25 minutes to come up wit the verses for the song, loaded it up, laid it down, did a quick half-ass mixdown on it & sent it back to D. Boy that night. He spazzed out & the rest, is what it is...
One man's trash is another man's treasure
